 **** Brush will be collected at the end of leaf pick-up. The crew will only make one round of the township. ****

**** DO NOT MIX BRUSH AND LEAVES TOGETHER. IF YOU DO, IT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. ****

Spring Leaf Collection – April 5th – April 23rd

1. Rake your leaves to the edge of your property (along the road) and the leaves will be picked up by the Township’s Leaf Vacuum and Collector.

2. Put your leaves in paper bags and place them along the road for pick up.

Any paper bag may be used. Large paper yard bags are available for purchase at local stores.

Bags over 50lbs. will not be collected.

Please do not use tape to seal the bag.

Spring Brush Collection – April 23rd – your brush must be out by April 23rd, or it will not be picked up.  Brush Collection will be one round of the Township.

Brush should be less than six feet in length and less than three inches in diameter.

 Pile brush & limbs together. Small twigs must be bagged – separate from the leaves.

 The collection crews cannot collect whole cut trees.

 Fall Leaf Collection – October 11th – November 30th

Christmas Tree Recycling

Live undecorated trees can be dropped off at the highway yard located at 100 Chief Logan Circle in Altoona from December 26th to January 17th. Trees can also be dropped off during regular business hours at either the Buckhorn Facility located on Black Snake Road or the Duncansville Facility located on Dunnings Highway.
